Finally…..SPRING has arrived! I don’t think I could have waited any longer for warmer weather, fresh bulbs blooming in my flower beds, and SUNSHINE! Bring on allllll the warm weather activities, food, and fun. I’m beyond ready! And this month’s calendar is right there along with me. It’s bursting with flowers just waiting for some color! These flowers are a little bit safer for me, since I’m also dealing with spring allergies right now, but I’ll take that any day over snow!
This month I have a few fun plans that I’m looking forward to.
I’m heading up to a fun event in Park City this weekend to celebrate the most famous horse race….the Kentucky Derby! I can’t attend the actual event, so I’m doing the next best thing…donning a fascinator and drinking some juleps! I’ll share some of the action on Instagram stories, so make sure to follow along!
My dad convinced me to attend a Star Wars event at the Utah symphony in the middle of the month. They will be showing Star Wars: A New Hope and the symphony will be playing all of the movie’s original score with the movie, which will be really cool. (I went to a Harry Potter movie that they did and it was sooooo much fun!)
Mother’s Day is sneaking up as well, so make sure to mark that date down and plan ahead! I think I have mine all figured out.
I’m finishing up the month with another trip back to New York to visit the bf. Baseball season is in full swing and he’s as busy as ever. But this girl is NEVER going to complain about having to attend baseball games, eat hot dogs, or drink beer. It’s my happy place! (I’m just excited it should be warming up over there finally!)
