North Pole Hot ChocolateNorth Pole Hot ChocolateToday, I’m sharing the easiest white hot chocolate recipe that you can fix and forget in the crockpot and the CUTEST North Pole stir sticks that will get everyone into the holiday spirit! This North Pole hot chocolate is so easy to make and so much fun to drink! It’s the perfect whimsical treat to sip while sitting near the tree and reading Christmas stories with the kids, or while wrapping presents and listening to your favorite Christmas music! And don’t worry….there’s no age limit for this yummy drink! 😉

With some basic ingredients and a simple tutorial, you’ll be sipping your way to Santa’s workshop with this North Pole Hot Chocolate!

North Pole Hot ChocolateHere’s What You’ll Need to Make Your Own:

Hot Chocolate –

  • 10 oz. White Chocolate Chips
  • 4 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 Cups Whole Milk
  • 1-14 oz. Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 ½ Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • Whipped Cream

North Pole Stir Sticks –

  • Candy Canes
  • Small (Original Size) Marshmallows
  • Red Sprinkle Sugar
  • Coconut Flakes or White Candy Shreds
  • Water
  • Paintbrush
  • Toothpick

To begin, make your hot chocolate by placing white chocolate chips, heavy whipping cream, whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract in a crock pot. Cook on low for 3 or 3 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.

While your hot chocolate is cooking, you can prep your candy candy North Pole stir sticks, since they can be made in advance.

Insert the bottom of your candy cane into the hole in the marshmallow. Press the marshmallow onto the candy cane well, to ensure it’s secure and reshape it as needed.

Pour your red sprinkle sugar onto a plate or into a bowl. (This will make coating the marshmallows easier!)

North Pole Hot ChocolateUsing your paintbrush, dip into water and begin lighting brushing your marshmallow with water. Don’t drench them or the marshmallows will become too sticky and mushy and won’t look good once in your mug!

Place your candy cane stir sticks aside until ready to use.

Next up, fill a shallow plate with water. Place your coconut or candy shreds onto a different shallow plate.

Flip your mugs upside down and dip the rim of the mug into the plate full of water, to moisten the rim.

Roll the moistened rim into the coconut or candy shreds until coated.

North Pole Hot ChocolateFill the mugs with the white hot chocolate carefully, insuring your don’t spill onto your candy or coconut rim.
