Easy TRISCUIT AppetizerOne of the hardest parts of entertaining, in my opinion, is planning the menu. It takes a long time to sift through recipes, finalize a menu that is cohesive, and then figure out how to pull it all off without slaving away in the kitchen all day or during your entire event. It’s easy to get caught up in the planning and go overboard, taking on more than you can handle, but I’m going to help you guys out today with a super quick and easy TRISCUIT appetizer recipe that will impress your guests and give a sophisticated edge to a menu item that none of your guests will realize only took you minutes to prepare! Plus, it also happens to be delicious!

Easy TRISCUIT AppetizerWhether you are planning a fancy dinner party, just have friends dropping by, or if you have a handful of toppings that you want to experiment with, TRISCUIT crackers are sooo easy to create with. Whether you add a slice, a dollop, or a sprinkle, you can Make ‘Scuit Happen anywhere, anytime!

For this easy TRISCUIT appetizer recipe I chose to make the Procheeugulascuit (prosciutto+cheese+arugula). Try saying that 3 times fast!

Easy TRISCUIT AppetizerI used original flavor crackers and only used 3 other ingredients! Other varieties of TRISCUIT crackers also include reduced fat, cheddar, cracked pepper & olive oil, fire roasted tomato & olive oil, garden herb, deli-style rye, roasted garlic, thin crisps, and rosemary & olive oil. Feel free to use whatever flavor is calling out to your foodie self.

One of the things that I love about TRISCUIT crackers are that they are made with 100 percent whole grains, are low in saturated fat and are a good source of dietary fiber. So you can feel a little bit better about eating them 😉

I picked up the TRISCUIT crackers for this recipe at my local Smith’s Food & Drug store. You can find your local Smith’s Food & Drug store here.

Easy TRISCUIT AppetizerHere’s what you’ll need to make your own:

  • 12 TRISCUIT Crackers
  • 3 Wedges of The Laughing Cow® Creamy Swiss Garlic & Herb Cheese, Softened
  • 3 Slices (1/2 oz. each) Prosciutto, Quartered
  • 12 Baby Arugula Leaves

First, spread the Laughing Cow® cheese onto the top of each cracker.

Add the prosciutto onto the cheese spread.

Top with an arugula leaf.

Easy TRISCUIT AppetizerAnd you’re done. Didn’t I tell you that this easy TRISCUIT appetizer was going to be a breeze guys? Not to mention that it looks pretty impressive too!

If you’re not a prosciutto fan, you can substitute deli-style Black Forest ham in place of the prosciutto. To add a bit more flavor, you can top each cracker with a pinch of fresh cracked black pepper too.

My mom has been purchasing TRISCUIT crackers here lately just to snack on, but after seeing this, I may need to start using them for impressive appetizers, too! #client
