I’m rounding up my very favorite food pool floats, just in time for pool party season! You can’t attend a pool party these days without your fave floatie in tow!

One of the hardest parts of entertaining, in my opinion, is planning the menu. It takes a long time to sift through recipes, finalize a menu that is cohesive, and then figure out how to pull it all off without slaving away in the kitchen all day or during your entire event. It’s easy to get caught up in the planning and go overboard, taking on more than you can handle, but I’m going to help you guys out today with a super quick and easy TRISCUIT appetizer recipe that will impress your guests and give a sophisticated edge to a menu item that none of your guests will realize only took you minutes to prepare! Plus, it also happens to be delicious!
Whether you are planning a fancy dinner party, just have friends dropping by, or if you have a handful of toppings that you want to experiment with, TRISCUIT crackers are sooo easy to create with. Whether you add a slice, a dollop, or a sprinkle, you can Make ‘Scuit Happen anywhere, anytime!
Guys, there aren’t many things that top my happy list more often than donuts. They are one of my fave treats and have been for as long as I can remember. There’s just something so satisfying about those golden fried (or baked…if you’re going for healthy…) round pastries with holes in the middle and sprinkles on top. Don’t ask me how a pastry can make me so happy, but it does and I’m not about to question it! With national donut day only two weeks away, I wanted to create something fun and different that will elevate your donuts to a whole other level. May I introduce you to…drum roll please….chocolate sprinkle donut fries!

Spring is finally here (despite snow in the Utah forecast this week…why?!) and Summer is right around the corner. Is it just me, or do you feel like you seem to have more house guests and people stopping by unexpectedly when the weather is nicer? Warm temps make people want to gather together, and that means being prepared to entertain!
Today’s recipe for chocolate shortbread peanut butter tarts is the perfect after dinner treat or afternoon snack to serve with your favorite coffee, and I also have a sneaky little tip to share that will impress your guests with some barista level skills, without using an espresso machine! It’s also going to keep you out of the kitchen so you can actually enjoy time with your guests too!
I’m definitely a dog person. I have been my whole life. I’m also a birthday person. Maybe not so much that whole part about turning another year older, but I do love any excuse to get together with friends and family and celebrate over cake, because…CAKE. Enough said there. (And, just for the record, a birthday is not a birthday without cake!) So, as much as my own dogs are a part of my family, you can bet that I’m going to celebrate their yearly milestones too!
Today’s dog birthday cake recipe has been given two paws up by my own pugs and is really easy to make. I’m sure the pups in your life will be just as happy to turn another year older too, if they know this cake is on the menu!
Believe it or not, I’m a newbie when it comes to the world of wine. I’ve moved onto some more classic whites and have ventured farther than a Moscato or Riesling, but I’m still not a reds fan yet. (I’m working on it!) As I’ve dived deeper into all things grape, I find myself hosting more and more wine nights, researching perfect pairings, and geeking out over wine glasses and other accessories. One of the things that I don’t have yet….? Wine charms! It’s really easy to misplace your glass when you have a few friends over, so I decided to make some fun DIY diamond wine charms for myself!
Don’t get me wrong. I like flowers, but I LOVE chocolate. I’ll always pick something edible over something that’s going to wilt and die in a few days. BUT, combine the two together and you have a winning combination on your hands! These edible floral chocolate bars are a CINCH to make, are gorgeous (no, really, I am sharing 8 million photos because they are just too pretty), and would make the perfect gift for mom this mother’s day! They’d also be great to gift to a bestie, or honestly, just to make and enjoy yourself! Who really wants to give these away anyway…? Not me!
I hate to admit it, but as I get older, it’s inevitable. Almost everything that your mom told you when you were growing up is actually correct. I know…I don’t like admitting it either. But it’s kinda true. We like to pretend we have all the answers, but our moms actually do. At least, most of the time. (But I still don’t like to admit it when I’m around her).
So it’s only fair that for Mother’s Day, we shower the all-knowing ladies in our lives with a little bit of admiration and maaaaybe even admit that she’s always been right. (And if that’s the route you want to go, I have a notecard for that 😉 )
Today, I’m sharing these free printable mother’s day notecards with you guys. They are fun, pretty, and even come with mismatched envelope liners, which I love almost as much as the cards!
